Easy Canvas Prints Review & GIVEAWAY!

I was recently approached by Easy Canvas Prints and asked if I would be interested in reviewing their products.   I was so excited and jumped at this opportunity!  You would think that with the 100’s of pictures I take and upload to sharing sites every month that my house would be filled with frames and albums …but not so much.  I have really wanted to get some pictures printed and we have a couple huge blank walls that need attending to, so this was perfect!

The process of ordering your prints is SO easy, it literally only takes a minute or two!  Choosing which pictures to use …now that’s another story!  The options are limitless.  You can upload pictures from your computer, Facebook and even Instagram!  There are 9 sizes available, or you have the option of designing a custom print in whatever dimensions you want.  They come in two different thicknesses, the regular .75″ that is perfect for framing or the 1.5″ gallery style prints which give it a great three dimensional effect.  Easy Canvas Prints can also frame your print for an additional fee.  I spent a few extra bucks to upgrade my large canvas to a 18×22 also made four 8×10’s to go around it in a wall arrangement. (2 of them are still on the way)

It’s not everyday that I can order things like this, so I really wanted to make it count.  I decided to do a few special scenes from my childhood that would tug my heart and take me back to that nostalgic place when I look at them.  Although I am “from” San Diego and live a very normal life here now, I actually had quite a unique childhood and spent most of my growing up years with my missionary parents deep in a jungle on an island of the Philippines.  I chose two scenes from the river I played in everyday which ran right along our house.  The third canvas is of the bamboo house my dad built with the little plane that was used to fly us, our supplies and mail in and out of the jungle.  I totally credit my love for mail and packages to the fact that I used to only be able to get letters from my awesome pen pals once a month flown in on a tiny Super Cub or Cessna plane.  When I look at these pictures, I am totally taken back I can actually hear the river, crickets, birds and feel the humid heat.  🙂

The prints turned out perfect, and look just like the photos I submitted.  The Easy Canvas Team even contacted me and let me know that my original selection was not going to print clearly so that I could choose a photo with better resolution.  The picture of the house and plane is from the 80’s, thus the 80’s yellow coloring, but the print looks just like the photo I submitted.  I am so happy with these and will hang them as soon as two more arrive and I can put up the whole wall arrangement at once.  …for now they are displayed on the cat-walk.
