Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil Spray Review & GIVEAWAY

I was given a sample bottle of Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil Spray to test and review from Natural Healthy Concepts.   Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil by LL Magnetic Clay is a rapidly absorbed, ultra pure, concentrated transdermal spray for those who dislike taking pills or the negative side effects of taking oral Magnesium supplements.  It is made from Magnesium salt that has been protected and kept pure and untouched deep in the interior of the earth, as part of an ancient European seabed.

Magnesium is important for our nervous system and neuromuscular function and is said to:

• Support detoxification
• Support relieving aches and pains
• Support improving mood and relieving stress
• Encourage healthy skin tissue
• and much more

So why the transdermal spray? Can’t I just take a pill?  When taken orally, Magnesium can have a laxative effect, which reduces the ability for your body to absorb it.  Pills also contain binding agents, extra ingredients and minerals.   Using this oil spray ensures that you are only getting pure Magnesium, absorbed in the most effective way – through the skin.

Ancient Mineral Magnesium Oil can be used directly on the skin, in a warm bath or foot soak.  The directions on the bottle say to spray it on as much of your body as possible and leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse off.  I found that the best time for me was before my shower, since I had to rinse off after.  I would spray it on my neck, back, arms and legs and then play around with my makeup or nails for a while before I rinsed it off.  The bottle warns that it is normal to experience a tingling sensation on the skin, and it is true.  I would call it more of a stinging, like drying salt water at the beach.  This discouraged me from using it regularly at first.  then I started to read more about topical magnesium and its benefits (…and the stinging!) and found out some interesting information.  Some say that, the more it stings, the more depleted your body is of Magnesium, aka, the more you need it.  So my stubbornness kicked in and I restarted using it, knowing that it was going to get better once my body has reached its Magnesium saturation level.  My bottle was enough for a week or so and the stinging has lessened some.

I was happy to find out that Ancient Minerals actually has four different transdermal magnesium products.  The Magnesium Oil and Magnesium Gel are higher concentrated and more effective.  The Magnesium Bath Flakes and Magnesium Lotion are less concentrated and may be preferred by those with sensitive skin.

ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops Review & GIVEAWAY

I was given a bottle of ConcenTrace® Trace Mineral Drops to test and review from Natural Healthy Concepts.  ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops is an all natural mineral concentrate that contains over 72 naturally occurring ionic trace minerals from the Great Salt Lake with 99% of the sodium removed.

Using ConcenTrace every day is said to help maintain energy levels by providing your body’s electrical system the minerals it needs to function properly.  Ideally, minerals would come from the food we eat, but researchers have proven that soils have been depleted of minerals which lessen the nutritional value of raw foods.  Besides the multiple health benefits in humans, ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops can be used to benefit gardens, plants and pets.  You can also feel good about this product knowing that it is non-GMO, all natural, gluten free, vegan and produced in a facility that uses solar evaporation.

So why the drops?  Aren’t there minerals in my daily multivitamin?  Pills on contain binders, added ingredients, and can be hard for your body to break down.  ConcenTrace Mineral Drops are water-soluble making them easily absorbed and readily available for your body to use.

ConcenTrace can be mixed with juice, food or used to remineralize purified water.  I found that it has a strong taste, so I would mix it with juice and drink it fast.  My sample bottle was enough for 1 week of daily use.  I’m not sure if I felt a huge difference, but I thought it was interesting that I started to crave my weird tasting juice in the morning.  I took this to mean that my body did need this and was benefiting from the extra minerals I was getting through ConcenTrace.  It would be interesting to see what long term benefits I could get from using it regularly.
